Congratulations to Clare's Junior Infants class on winning the Litter Picker Class of the Month. Clare's class performed the best this month in keeping the classroom floors tidy and separating the waste into recycling and non-recycling material. marie presented Clare's Junior Infants with an award certificate and it is proudly displayed on the Green School notice board.

Princesses, Harry Potter, Little Red Riding Hood, Puss in Boots, and Snow White were some of the characters that arrived to school on world book day. Below are some of the children who won best costume on the day. Can you guess what story book they are from?

There were some spooky happenings on Friday 22nd October 2010 in Maynooth Educate Together. All the children arrived to school wearing their Halloween Costumes. They were greeted by even scarier members of staff!!. All the classes celebrated with a party, games and fun. Libby's class joined Claire's class for the celebrations and Elaine's class welcomed the children from Clare's class for the party celebrations.

Adrienne was kept busy all day face painting. Thank you Adrienne, the children loved the face painting.

A big 'Thank You' to the Parents/Guardians for all the work in getting the children ready and to all the families who contributed to the Parents Association collection on the day.
