On Friday the 5th June 2009, the children went on their School Trip to Fort Lucan. There was great excitement in the days prior to the Trip. On Friday morning the noise volume was a little louder and the children could hardly wait for the arrival of the bus. A great cheer greeted went up when the bus arrived through the school gates. 

On arrival in Fort Lucan the children were wide eyed with anticipation of the fun about to begin. After a quick brief from the staff, the children were allowed to explore Fort Lucan. Slides, zip-lines, mazes, go-karts and crazy golf to name a few of their favorites.

Lunch was very quick that day as the children were very eager to get back to play. There was great sense of co-operation, sharing and friendship displayed by the children on the day.

The children were very reluctant to leave. We packed up and some very tired children climbed aboard the bus that afternoon. A word of Thanks the staff and parents who accompanied the children on the day.
